Scott Storch is a Canadian record producer. He has found
success in many genres of music, particularly hip hop, pop, and
R&B. He has his own record label, Storch Music Company and his
own music production company called Tuff Jew Productions LLC.
Storch made his
first big step in his professional music career in 1991 when he
became one of the first members of the legendary hip hop group
the Roots as a keyboard player. Storch's first big commercial
hit, was when he met up with Dr. Dre, and helped produce the
riffs for the song "Still D.R.E." He also has an interest in
Middle Eastern and Indian music, which comes across in some of
his songs, most notably "U Make Me Wanna" by Jadakiss; "Lean
Back" by Fat Joe "Clap Back" by Ja Rule; "Side Effects" by
Mariah Carey "Playas Only" by R. Kelly "Lock U Down" by Mıa;
"Naughty Girl" and "Baby Boy", both by Beyoncé "Turn It Up" by
Chamillionaire "Candy Shop" and "Just a Lil' Bit" by 50 Cent;
and "Poppin' Them Thangs" by G-Unit
Storch has
produced for a variety of artists including The Roots, Dr. Dre,
Ice Cube,, Ja Rule, Toni Braxton, Raven Symone, Daddy Yankee,
Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Nas, T.I., Lil Wayne, Nelly, Paris
Hilton, Jessica Simpson,, Brooke Hogan, LeToya Luckett, Danity
Kane, The Game, Tha Realest,, Ras Kass, Chingo Bling, Kelly
Rowland, Teairra Mari, Chris Brown and many more. He is
currently working with Ciara on her new album "Fantasy Ride" due
out 2009.
